Its us again we just wanted to show you our rough statistics:

An estimated 50 million tons of E-waste is produced each year. The USA discards 30 million computers each year and 100 million phones are disposed of in Europe each year. The Environmental Protection Agency estimates that only 15-20% of e-waste is recycled, the rest of these electronics go directly into landfills and incinerators.

We are a group of young students who are working on 
part of our final GCSE grade; it's worth 60%

Our project is about E-waste, with a specific focus on 
illegal dumping of electronic waste such as old T.V's 
and computers.

Do you guys know where all 
your old electronics end up?

Well they end up in other countries
like Ghana and Nigeria where
children have to burn them. 
This can be harmful to the 
environment as well as 
the local community.

Our Aims and Objectives...

Aims:

1) To increase awareness of the existence of e-waste and 
its effect on global communities.

2) To explore the social and economic factors and consumer 
choices contributing to the occurrence of e-waste.

                        

Objectives:

1) To raise awareness within the general public about the transport of electronic waste.

2) To bring up the issue to our local MP, so they can try to reduce the transportation of harmful e-waste.
